Our music ministry offers a variety of opportunities to share your gifts and grow in faith through music. From our Wednesday evening Pathfinders group to seasonal music programs and congregational singing during Sunday morning worship, there’s something for everyone. To learn more or get involved, contact our Director of Music, Misty Amsbaugh, at misty.amsbaugh@gmail.com.
Pathfinders
We are a welcoming group of musicians and singers who bring our diverse talents together to share the joy of music. Our instrumental performances feature gospel and bluegrass, and we perform for special occasions at Hiram First UMC and other churches. Our group includes both church members and community musicians, and our practice sessions include a variety of songs, including rock and country. New members are always welcome! Join us on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. to make music, build friendships, and have fun.
Sunday Morning Worship
Make a joyful noise with us! We sing selections from the United Methodist Hymnal, which are selected by the pastor and music director. We also take requests in advance from the congregation. Special music includes selections from our very talented Misty Amsbaugh and a handbell choir during Advent.
